Way back in 1984 when our owner, James Woods, came to Camden to run a Golden Corral restaurant, the opportunity arose to purchase Kreg’s Catfish. James took the opportunity and then changed the name to Woods Place.
Since the beginning of Woods Place, it has been a successful restaurant and catering business winning various awards including “Best Catfish” and “Best Plate Lunches” in the statewide publication Arkansas Times. We have also been featured on “KATV Pam’s Picks”.
We are happy when we receive recognition. However our greatest level of happiness comes from simply serving the Camden community on a daily basis.
